a cats tale.. ("Slow")

There once was a cat who lived a slow life..
Although, there was places he surely wanted to go and visit, he really enjoyed where he lived. His dream was to head east towards the sun. Every day he sat on top the roof of his home and watched the cars pass by. The cars that he simply envied, drove away into the horizon where the sun would emerge from each day.

When the days came to end, he watched the cars swiftly hurry to its destination. The cat wished he could go but was somehow too attached to the home he grew accustomed with.

One night the cat stayed on the rooftop and sat there thinking under the moonlight. While talking to himself, he met a bird who over heard him.
They became good friends and exchanged stories. The cat enjoyed the bird's stories of traveling and was very fond of the bird's color. The bird had Silver feathers and it glistened every time they talked under the sun or moonlight.

It came to the day where the bird and the cat had to part ways for a while.
The cat met other friends but couldnt forget the silver feathers. As the cat lived on, he slowly began to change color. The color that he liked so much finally became part of him. He was happy about his silver fur and suprised it turned out so great and shiny.

But, one day the bird flew back to pay a visit to the cat. To the cat's suprise the bird which he knew had also changed color. The color had changed from a shining silver to a dull black and brown. The bird explained why its feathers had changed and simply stated that it was the cause from all the traveling it had done and all the colors it had seen.

The cat and the bird exchanged their last stories and gave each other their final goodbyes. The bird was never seen again but the cat always kept its silver fur. As he sat on top his roof top one morning watching the cars, one had stopped along side of the road. He thought for a quick minute and then leaped from his rooftop and headed towards the car. The car opened its doors and welcomed the cat in, it then drove off into the distance until it was out of sight.

No one ever saw the cat again. Some say that he went in search of the sun.

and now today...many have tried to adapt and understand the story, but are only left with a dull gray. all have simply failed to obtain the shine and glow of the silver which they seek.

If there is one thing you should learn about this story

its that...

....i hate it

cuz i hate cats...
